A park ranger in Congo has described how he captured a selfie with two gorillas that went viral.

Mathieu Shamavu, a ranger at Virunga National Park in japanese Congo, reported he was checking his cellphone when he observed two woman orphaned gorillas, Ndakazi and Ndeze, mimicking his movements, so he took a photograph with them.

The gorillas look as if they’re posing for the digicam and when Shamavu posted the image on social media on Saturday it rapidly clocked up hundreds of likes and remarks.
